Ahsan Ullah is a passionate researcher, award-winning humanitarian leader, and graduate student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Dhaka. He brings together rigorous academic training with extensive field experience in disaster response, community development, and youth leadership. At the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS), he serves as both Research Manager and Treasurer—steering high-impact, student-led research initiatives while mentoring peers in ethical inquiry and evidence-based advocacy. A recognized leader on the national stage, Ahsan was honored with the Gallantry Award by Bangladesh Scouts for his courageous role in the Bangabazar fire rescue, and his research on education and healthcare access has earned distinction at conferences across Bangladesh and the region. His work reflects an unwavering commitment to social justice, equity, and evidence-based solutions for Bangladesh's most pressing challenges.
