About Dhaka University Research Society
Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) is the first student-based research organization in Bangladesh, founded on 6 December 2016 under the University of Dhaka with the motto "Research for a Better World." Since its establishment, DURS has been dedicated to fostering a vibrant research culture by encouraging students to engage in academic research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The organization welcomes undergraduate, Master's, MPhil, and PhD students from different faculties and institutes of the University of Dhaka. Through workshops, seminars, conferences, research fellowships, and mentorship programs, DURS provides students with opportunities to develop research skills, leadership qualities, and professional networks while contributing to national and international academic communities.

About DURS
Over the years, DURS has grown into one of Bangladesh's leading student research organizations with nearly 2,500 research-minded members participating in specialized research teams across multiple disciplines. Under the guidance of experienced faculty members, moderators, researchers, and academic mentors, students actively participate in research projects, conferences, publications, competitions, and leadership programs.
The organization continuously collaborates with universities, research institutions, policymakers, and professionals to strengthen research capacity among young scholars while promoting innovation and evidence-based thinking for national development.
