About: Introduction
A Professor of Microbiology, Muhammad Manjurul Karim earned his PhD in Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK (2001), did a post-doc at McGill University, Canada (2002-04), and was trained at the University of Dundee, UK, and ICGEB, New Delhi, India. Earlier, he received his Bachelor's (Honours) and Master’s degrees in Microbiology from the Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka in 1991 and 1992 respectively. His academic career at the University of Dhaka spans over 27 years, starting as a Lecturer (1997), and then gradually promoted to Professor (2011).

- PGPR as bioinoculants for coastal agriculture

Professional Experience
Professor Muhammad Manjurul Karim has extensive experience in teaching, academic research, research supervision, and institutional leadership at the University of Dhaka. Throughout his distinguished career, he has supervised undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD researchers while contributing to numerous national and international research projects. His expertise in microbiology, innovation, and scientific collaboration has significantly advanced research, academic excellence, and capacity building within the university and beyond.
