Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) and Global Center for Innovation & Learning (GCFIL), USA are jointly organizing “Youth Skills Development Workshop”Series” in Bangladesh. On 9 May the First Workshop of the Series will be on Public Speaking- ‘Youth Speak: Presentation Skills for Change Makers’. It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in this very important event.
Why Public Speaking is Important?
Communication is the backbone of our society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions and motivate change. Without excellent communication skills, the ability to progress in this working world and in life, would be nearly impossible.
This workshop will expose the participants to 3 different distinct public speaking environments:
1. Speaking on Public Media (News or Public Events)
2. Presentation on Research (Conference and Workshops)
3. Meeting Moderation at Work Environment (Office Meetings)
Venue: Serajul Islam lecture hall, Lecture Theater, University of Dhaka.
Program Schedule:
1.00 PM: Registration
1.30 PM: Opening Welcome by DURS Representatives and GCFIL Country Director Mr. Sayyedul Nakib.
2. 00 PM – 3.30 PM: Panelists
3.30 PM-4.30 PM: Small Group Demo in 3 Topics
4.30 PM-5.00 PM –Closing remarks on Importance of Public Speaking in Youth Skills and Leadership Development in Bangladesh
5.00 PM-6. 00 PM–Thank you Session, Snakes, Certificate Giving and Networking
